On November 1, 2011 Sonic Generations was released. The blue Hedgehog went on a time splitting adventure that not only allows you to play as two hedgehogs but play on two versions of stages The game received critical acclaim and is still a game that I play on a regular. However, the game will be delisted from the digital store on September 9, 2024. In the time of mean writing this post, I believe that it is already delisted from Xbox, but still up on Steam. Interesting enough, I brought it back last Christmas Holiday when they had Steam games on sale. Glad I did when I did.
Sega has stated that in the meantime it will release the game with bundles other sonic games that released. Primarily by code. Some of the reason for this is because Sonic X Shadow Generations is being released on October 22, 2024. The game will have updated graphics. Yes!!! It will also have a whole new section dedicated to Shadow as well. Interesting. In the meantime if you haven’t already gotten this gem, you can still have time before it goes away.
